FILM
On the days I feel like I cannot write, I towards to photo or film. Within the grief-filled years of 2020-2021, with our communions of grief, I found myself photographing and filming more often than writing. There’s something about image, with movement, that is like water running... before I know language for what makes our waters run.

I created a film with spirit, with Wela, and our waters which we know exceed the flesh.
I created this film, too, with GIPHY Arts.

I created this film with fragments of poems and personal essays I wrote throughout this last year, with our Wela sized loss that will meet its second month on June 2nd. Grief is wild like that—with its immensity, how it hasn’t even been two months yet (thinking with how capitalism tells time) and still, there is so much flooding.
